Medicare Part B
If you're seeking coverage for the first time, many questions are likely swirling around. Let's get right to them!
What is Medicare Part B?
Making up the second part of "Original Medicare," Part B is also known as medical insurance. Medicare Part A & Part B takes care of most (80%) of your healthcare costs, but it still contains limitations, and there is no cap on the amount you’re responsible for.
Without delving into it here, know that we offer Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D health plans to help you cover what Medicare doesn't.
Whereas Medicare Part A deals primarily with hospital-based services, Part B helps with outpatient care costs.
What does Medicare Part B help you cover?
Outpatient services
Home health care
Preventative services
Medical equipment
Ambulance services

You won't have to worry about certain diagnostic tests and treatments as an outpatient. Radiology services billed by a hospital fall under this, as do medical supplies like casts and splints. We know this can be a little confusing, so we are here to answer your questions and guide you to get the best coverage for your particular circumstance.
Your annual wellness check and some vaccinations are considered preventative, and fees are covered.
Walkers and wheelchairs fall under the umbrella of medical equipment. Part B helps you with those.
Understanding how it fits together with Medicare Part A to handle general healthcare issues that may arise, how do you take care of the 20% Medicare doesn't cover?
Medicare Advantage and Medicare Supplemental Insurance (Medigap) plans are available to help with some or all of the services Medicare doesn't cover.
Read below for more common questions that come up. We aim to alleviate any pressing questions you may have at this time.

Testimonials
“The most important things for me personally were the Medicare supplemental and drug plans. Connie was extremely knowledgeable, and provided me with enough information for me to make the decision on my own - she didn’t make the decision for me. Connie was very professional, very patient, and she made me feel completely comfortable.”

“I can highly recommend Connie, that’s for sure! Connie was very helpful. She even came to my house and explained all the pros and cons. She helped me with all the forms, and referred me to a new doctor in Sonoma County (with whom I am very happy). I ended up with an extremely reasonable policy, with low premiums, low co-pay, and a very good choice of doctors - it’s all good!”

“Connie was so patient with me. She took care of all my questions for over an hour (and I’m 84 and hard of hearing!). I was so thankful to talk to her — I felt completely at ease as she led me through all the alternatives. She made it so that I didn’t have to travel over to San Francisco (I live in Berkeley), and now I can see any doctor in any city! Then she helped me with my payments, so I didn’t even have to write a check. I felt very satisfied with her!”
